We moved to Hewitt Road in 2013 with a new baby and toddler. The house needed to be fully renovated. We re-wired, re-plumbed, levelled all the upstairs floors, reinforced beams, fitted new bathrooms, new kitchen, replastered and put all new wooden sash windows in, in the original style as when the house was first built. In 2016 we built a studio/office in the garden. Not wanting to lose garden space, we sunk it into the ground and grassed the top. You could say blood, sweat and tears have gone into the property to create the family home we now have.

All our family have loved living in this area – fantastic restaurants, cafes and our local pub, The Salisbury. Also, you can't beat the breakfasts at Jam in the Jar, another local pub just around the corner!

Our children have grown up here. First, attending South Harringay Nursery and now both in the primary school. They absolutely love it here, not just for the many local parks and play areas, but all their friends, who live on and around the ladder.

Our neighbours and the local community are wonderful with regular street party/bbq's, planting days and community events nearby.

We will be sad to leave this very special home but look forward to handing over the keys to someone, that will be able to enjoy the space and area as much as we have.
